About StrollerPicker

StrollerPicker covers 187 strollers from 34 makers: what each maker publishes about it, what owners report after living with it, and which infant car seats attach.

Measurements, not labels

Makers describe compact strollers as cabin-sized, overhead-bin friendly or carry-on approved. None of those words is a measurement. So every stroller with a published folded size is held against the 22 x 14 x 9 inch limit Delta publishes for carry-on bags, side by side, and the result is printed either way. Of the 148 folded sizes in the catalog, 1 fits inside it. The method is written out in full.

A blank is an answer

Every figure comes from the maker’s own product page, spec table or compatibility page, and every stroller page links to those sources, 202 of them across the catalog. Where a maker does not publish a number for that exact model, the cell is empty rather than borrowed from a sibling. That is why 659 cells are blank today: 39 strollers have no published folded size and 146 have no handlebar height. The blank is the finding.

Safety claims

Strollers carry babies, so the site makes no safety claim of its own. A recall appears only when the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission lists one for that model, with the CPSC page linked and the affected serial numbers or parts named. A recall of an earlier model in the same line is shown separately and says that the current model is not named in it.

Who is behind it, and who is not

Two people build and maintain this in their own time. There is no office, no editorial staff, no test track and no lab, and nothing here was measured by us. No maker pays for a place in the catalog, a position in a list or a word on its page. What the site collects is one analytics tag and one browser key holding your filters.

Owner experience, kept separate

Some things only show up after months of use: a wheel that squeaks, a fold that gets stiff, a canopy that will not stay put. Where public owner discussion was read for a model it sits in its own section under its own heading, never blended into the specification copy. Coverage is 41 of 187; the other pages say so rather than showing an empty block.

How often this changes

The catalog was last refreshed on 2026-10-08, and that date drives the sitemap. Each refresh re-checks that every stroller is still listed as current on its maker’s US site, because ranges turn over with each version: a V2 becomes a V3, a “next” replaces a model, and the older one lingers in shops long after the maker has moved on.

Corrections

A figure a maker does publish somewhere this site missed, a stroller missing from the catalog, a price that has moved: all of it is welcome. Send a correction.
