What it does well

  • Lay-flat carriage from birth, facing either way
  • All-wheel suspension and rubber tires, where the cheaper Pivot Xpand NXT has rear suspension only
  • Linked brakes lock both rear wheels at once
  • Revolve180 and LiteMax NXT seats attach directly

What it gives up

  • Folds tall: 43.5 inches
  • 32 inches wide in use, per Evenflo's own figure
  • Only Evenflo car seats are listed
  • The main basket is rated for only 10 lb, per the manual

What owners say

Owners of the Shyft Intuiti travel system mostly chose it for the rotating infant car seat and the price. Parents who bought it say the swiveling seat makes car transfers easy, and they like getting a car seat, base and a stroller with a lay-flat carriage seat in one box. Several bought it on sale at Target and describe using it almost every day, and one owner who paid closer to full price still says they love it.

The stroller gets mixed notes on handling. One owner calls it lightweight and easy to collapse and says the suspension takes a gravel driveway with only a little bounce, while another who came from a Chicco Bravo says it is hard to fold, has no handlebar storage and a cup holder that cannot hold a water bottle. Other complaints are single reports: a seat that lets a sitting baby slide down, and a frame that wobbles at the handle joints. Most of the friction sits with the car seat, which some owners find awkward as the baby grows.

Owners who sound happiest are first-time parents who wanted a rotating car seat and a full travel system without paying Uppababy or Nuna prices. One owner who has both this and a Chicco Corso LE travel system likes them about equally as strollers but prefers the Chicco car seat, and the owner whose baby kept sliding down was shopping for a Mockingbird single as a replacement.

What owners like

  • The rotating car seat is the feature owners mention most: they say swiveling it toward the door makes lifting the baby in and out of the car much easier
  • Owners like that the travel system box covers the whole first stage, with the car seat, base, stroller and the carriage seat that later turns into a toddler seat
  • Parents who caught it on sale at Target felt they got most of what a premium travel system offers, and one who had looked at Nuna and Uppababy was glad to have kept the difference
  • Owners who use it every day call it convenient and easy, and one family was still pushing it daily with a baby of nearly seven months

Common complaints

  • The Revolve180 car seat that comes in the box draws more complaints than the stroller: one owner liked a Chicco seat better, one found their baby's head slumping forward and suspects the base cannot sit flat on their steep back seat, and a third says a 9-month-old's head had passed the headrest padding while the buckle dug into their thighs
  • A minority of owners are unhappy with the stroller itself. One found it hard to fold, with a cup holder too weak for a water bottle and a bassinet canopy that leaves the baby partly in the sun; another says their almost 6-month-old keeps sliding down a seat that feels too slanted; a third, soon after buying, wondered whether the wobble at the handle joints was a defect

Questions owners ask about the Evenflo Shyft Intuiti+

Can the Shyft Intuiti handle gravel or grass?

One owner pushes it down a gravel driveway routinely and says it is a little bouncy but handles it well, crediting the wheel suspension. No other owner described rough ground, so treat that as a single report.

Is the Shyft Intuiti easy to fold?

Owners disagree. One calls it easy to collapse, while another who had used a Chicco stroller with a one-hand fold found the Evenflo hard to fold and disliked it overall.

Is the Shyft Intuiti worth it over an Uppababy or Nuna travel system?

Owners who bought it instead of a premium brand are glad they did, especially those who caught a Target sale. They say it covers what they needed, including a bassinet-style seat and a rotating car seat. One owner who also has a Chicco Corso LE says the two cost about the same and preferred the Chicco car seat.

Is some wobble in the Shyft Intuiti frame normal?

One owner noticed play at the joints where the handle meets the frame soon after buying and asked whether to return it. No other owner in these reports described the same wobble, so it is worth checking a new stroller in the first days while it can still go back.

What you lift

Evenflo prints a weight that its own page contradicts, so it is left blank rather than repeated.

Source: Withheld: Evenflo's page prints "Product weight: 24.9 lbs", but the same page converts the 55 lb child limit to "24.9 kg" and the manual gives no stroller weight, so the figure looks like a copying slip and is not shown

The first months: Seat is rated from birth. Evenflo: minimum age birth; lay-flat carriage mode facing either way.
