What it does well

19 lb, light enough to carry up stairs
Seat holds 55 lb, 5 lb more than each Kooper X2 or RS2 seat
Seatback is 3 inches taller than the Kooper's, per Joovy
Near-flat recline, where Joovy lists only a multi-position recline for the cheaper Kooper

What it gives up

$349.99 is $120 above the Kooper
Basket is rated 15 lb, against 22 lb on the Silver Cross Nia and Inglesina Quid3
Newborns need the separate universal adapter

What you lift

19 lb as Joovy weighs it.

Source: Joovy spec list: "Product Weight – 19 lbs"

The first months: Newborns ride in an infant car seat. Joovy: "Min. age – 3 months (or newborn with car seat adapter)"; adapter sold separately.

Why makers’ weights don’t always compare

Infant car seats

Joovy lists no infant car seat for the Joovy Kooper RS.

Source: Joovy sells a universal car seat adapter for this stroller, but the page names no seat brand, so no pairing is listed
