See it at MompushOwners pick the Meteor 2 because it covers the bassinet stage without a separate bassinet. The seat reclines flat into a roomy bassinet and then becomes a parent- or world-facing seat, and families use it for long neighborhood and park walks from the early weeks. Many keep using the bassinet position long after: for naps on the go, for laying a sleeping baby down without waking them, and as a changing surface away from home.
The trade-off owners raise most is the fold. With the seat attached it folds into a large rectangle, and owners with sedans regularly remove the seat to make it fit, which takes two hands. That is why most pair it with a small travel stroller or a car-seat stroller for errands and flights. Owners like the adjustable push bar, and the adapter in the box works with the Nuna and Maxi-Cosi seats they have tried. One Meteor owner who does not say which version they have finds it takes extra effort on uneven ground.
It suits families on a budget who want a from-birth stroller for walking rather than travel, and parents who would rather not store a bassinet attachment. One owner who also has a Vista says the Meteor is the one they reach for and is far easier to get into the trunk. Against Mompush's own Lithe, one owner says they would choose the Meteor again for daily use and the Lithe only for flying or a very small trunk.
Owners say yes. One who has used it for two babies since 2023 says it lies completely flat as a bassinet and then converts to the seat, and that the flat bassinet is what let them take long walks in the first six months.
Owners do, with the adapter that comes with it. They report using it with Nuna PIPA and Maxi-Cosi infant seats. Other families skip the infant seat entirely and move the baby from a convertible car seat into the bassinet.
Usually, but often only with the seat removed. One owner with a large sedan trunk still takes the seat off most of the time, while others say it pops into the trunk more easily than a Vista. Owners who need to fold one-handed with a baby in their arms keep a compact stroller for that.
Owners mostly use something smaller for flights. One traveler who bought it for a city trip found it does not fold as small as they expected, and most owners keep a separate compact stroller for travel and errands.
