Thule Charm vs Thule Sleek 2
The Charm is the one built for a baby at eye level: it comes with a newborn insert so it is usable from birth, has a 33 lb basket and folds to a very flat 31.5 x 17 x 10 inches. The Sleek 2 is $200 cheaper at $1,000 against $1,200, weighs the same 29.5 lb, and takes one or two children with an optional sibling seat. Folded it is 32.6 x 23.8 x 16.5, more than twice the Charm's volume, but it stands up by itself with three recline positions. Newborn setup splits the other way: the Sleek needs the Thule bassinet or an infant seat on adapters, both sold separately, and only a Maxi-Cosi adapter is listed. The Charm names no compatible car seat at all and rates its child limit at 48.5 lb against 49 for the Sleek. Only the Sleek can carry two, so decide that first; the Charm's flatter fold and bigger basket matter once the answer is one child.
Folded, the Thule Charm makes a 3.1 cu ft box to the Thule Sleek 2's 7.41 cu ft. Neither fits a 22 x 14 x 9 in carry-on sizer: the Thule Charm misses by 9.5 in and the Thule Sleek 2 by 10.6 in. The Thule Charm is newborn-ready as sold; the Thule Sleek 2 needs a bassinet, insert or infant car seat for the first months.
