Thule Sleek 2 vs Thule Urban Glide 3
Thule sells these two on different promises. The Sleek 2 is $1,000 and 29.5 lb, takes an optional sibling seat, and stands when folded at 32.6 x 23.8 x 16.5 inches. The Urban Glide 3 is $800 and 26.2 lb, folds to 34.6 x 22.8 x 12.2 with one hand, and has no second-seat option; Thule's own FAQ says it is not for jogging. The $200 saving and 3.3 lb come with a 15 lb basket capacity, where Thule publishes none for the Sleek. The adapters are where the Urban Glide wins on breadth: it lists Maxi-Cosi and Chicco KeyFit, while the Sleek lists only Maxi-Cosi. The sibling seat is the Sleek's only real argument here, so without a second child coming, the Urban Glide keeps $200 in your pocket.
Folded, the Thule Urban Glide 3 makes a 5.57 cu ft box to the Thule Sleek 2's 7.41 cu ft. Neither fits a 22 x 14 x 9 in carry-on sizer: the Thule Sleek 2 misses by 10.6 in and the Thule Urban Glide 3 by 12.6 in. The Thule Urban Glide 3 is 3.3 lb lighter by its maker's figure (26.2 lb to 29.5 lb).
