See it at NunaMost owners bought the DEMI next because it can become a double, and many are still using it as a single. On walks they are pleased: owners on cobblestone streets and broken sidewalks describe a smooth, steady push and a frame that feels solid, and one says it is still easy to maneuver with a newborn despite the bulk. Pairing it with a Pipa infant seat is the setup owners mention most.
The cost of all that is bulk. Owners describe it as huge next to other strollers, heavy to lift, and greedy with trunk space in SUVs as well as sedans, and one who lives in an apartment says it is not the stroller for that. Owners note the seat is not for newborns, so the early months need the bassinet or a car seat, and those who skipped the bassinet in favor of the Pipa did not miss it. Double mode puts the second seat low where the basket was, and one owner who tried it in the shop found the lower child could barely see out and sold the stroller.
For walkers with rough pavement and a garage or large trunk, owners sound content, and several keep a light second stroller such as a TRVL or an Ergobaby Metro 3 for travel. One owner who wanted two proper seats sold theirs for a Cybex Gazelle, which they like for folding with both seats attached, and another says that, knowing how big it is, they would have bought Nuna's TRIV or SWIV instead.
Owners who use a Pipa say no. The seat is not meant for newborns, so the first months need either the bassinet or the car seat, and one owner calls the bassinet pricey for how briefly babies fit in it.
A lot, by every owner's account. It takes most of a VW Tiguan and the full trunk of a VW Atlas; a sedan owner still fits groceries beside it but says it slides around enough that they are considering a cargo net.
Owners are split. One explains that the seat clips under the bassinet, over the rear wheels, so the weight sits where it keeps the stroller easy to turn. Another tried two seats in a shop and found the lower child sits almost in the basket and can hardly see, and sold theirs for a Cybex Gazelle.
Owners say yes. One living in an old European town with cobbled streets chose it for its wheels, suspension and frame and is happy with it, and another says the push is very nice on their uneven sidewalks.

Nuna lists no infant car seat for the Nuna DEMI next.
