How to Check Whether a Stroller Has Been Recalled

Short answer

US stroller recalls are published by the Consumer Product Safety Commission at cpsc.gov/Recalls. A recall names the model and usually a range of serial numbers or production dates, so check the label on your stroller, not just the name. A maker's service notice is not a recall.

Recalls that touch this catalog

Every stroller here was checked against the CPSC's recall list. Two notices touch a model sold now, one a serial range of the stroller itself and one a separately sold adapter; three more cover an earlier model with a similar name, which the CPSC notice does not extend to the version sold now.

Reading a notice

Look for three things: the model number, the serial or date range, and the remedy. The Stokke YOYO³ recall covers serial numbers starting "142AA" below "0062239" only. The 2022 UPPAbaby RIDGE recall covers model 1401-RDG-US, while the Ridge V2 sold now is 1403-RDG. Registering a stroller with its maker is how owners are contacted when a recall is announced.
