DoubleUPPAbaby
UPPAbaby sized this side-by-side double to clear a standard doorway at 27.8 inches wide, and both seats take a child from birth to 50 lb. At 27.4 lb it weighs less than a Vista V3 single, and the fold is one-handed with a crossbar to carry it by.
Best for: Twins or close-in-age siblings in apartments and narrow doorways

Most owners came to the Minu Duo as their answer to a second child arriving while the first still rides, and most of them had already ruled out the Vista as a double. They describe a side-by-side that folds quickly with one hand, takes a newborn from day one in a near-flat seat, and still holds a big three-year-old. Several use it as their only double.
The trade-offs owners mention are about terrain and car seats more than size. It pushes and turns easily on city sidewalks, including bumpy ones, but owners who walk unpaved roads or trails keep a jogger for that. The car seat only clicks in if it is UPPAbaby's own, and the owners who use it from birth mostly skip the car seat and use the flat seat. The basket gets good marks for a compact double, and owners describe the fold as small for something that carries two children.
It suits families with two children close in age who drive, fold the stroller often and want one double for daily use. The comparison owners make most is with the Vista: owners who have both call the Vista an excellent single and the Duo the easier double. A family whose daily walk is on dirt paths will want something with bigger tyres.
Owners who have tried both side by side mostly pick the Duo for two children. They say the Vista as a double needs extra seats and adapters, has to be taken apart to fold and is hard to push loaded, while the Duo just folds and goes. Several still keep a Vista or Cruz as their single stroller.
No, according to the owners using it with newborns. Either seat folds out almost flat into a bassinet-style setup, and owners with a newborn and an older toddler have used it that way from birth. One owner who also bought the car seat adapters used them once and preferred the flat seat.
UPPAbaby lists adapters only for its own Mesa and Aria infant seats. One owner whose seat was another brand said they couldn't click it in and used the flat seat instead.
Owners say yes. One with a very tall three-year-old says the child still sits comfortably, and another uses it daily with a newborn and a child of almost three.
